چکیده
Ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) is a material that has high compactness, low porosity, and mechanical strength, with especially tensile strength. Due to these characteristics, the behavior of when exposed temperatures debatable. The amount fibers in mixture, which makes UHPC present seen as one arguments for good performance temperatures. objective this study was evaluate behaviors ultra-high-performance columns hybrid steel polypropylene no loose reinforcements subjected elevated after 180 days curing. exposure age, less than 90 days, results greater damage due spalling, because this, sought higher age. Two were manufactured cross-section 250 mm × height 2800 mm. A heating regime followed curve standard ISO 834-1. physical characteristics samples evaluated during measurements decreases surface aspect. Effects on compressive modulus elasticity, apparent density cylindrical test bodies 100 diameter 200 height. These cured same regime, cooling. showed an increase strength increasing temperature up factor 30% at 400 °C. elasticity decreased gradually increased, maximum 29% 6%, respectively. Throughout heating, audible cracks heard from spalling. spalling frequency peaked oven 600 °C, testing suspended 78 min complete rupture column section. On average, 46.5% cross-sections suffered

Evaluation of Autogenous Shrinkage in High-Performance Concrete
Recent tendencies in concrete technology have been towards to high- performance concrete with a low water-cement ratio. However, high performance concretes have some problems. One of the problems is early-age cracking due to autogenous shrinkage. This study presents the results of an experimental investigation carried out to evaluate the autogenous shrinkage of high-strength concrete. Accordi...
متن کاملEarly-Age Strength of Ultra-High Performance Concrete in Various Curing Conditions
The strength of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) can be sensitively affected by the curing method used. However, in contrast to the precast plant production of UHPC where a standard high-temperature steam curing is available, an optimum curing condition is rarely realized with cast-in-place UHPC. Therefore, the trend of the compressive strength development of UHPC was experimentally inves...
متن کاملEffect of Reinforcement Type on the Tension Stiffening Model of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC)
Ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) is a developing concrete and today is increasing to interest using it in structures due to its advantages such as high-compressive strength, modulus of elasticity, highly durability and low-permeability. Therefore, it is necessary to provide models for prediction of nonlinear behavior of this material. This study is aimed to investigate the tension-stiffen...
متن کاملA Model for Concrete at High Temperatures
Prediction of concrete performance at high temperatures is of great importance, in particular for safety evaluation of concrete structures in fires in tunnels and high buildings or in thermal hazard situations like hypothetical core disruptive nuclear accidents. High temperatures induce strong physical and chemical changes in the micro-structure of concrete that affect its mechanical behaviour....
متن کاملUltra High Performance Self Compacting Concrete
Experiences in the development of Ultra High Performance Concrete found a very high flowability in concrete with low water powder ratio. Because of the high viscosity of the cement paste, compaction was necessary. To improve the compaction characteristics of the concrete the idea of adding coarse aggregate was developed. The first tests showed a good workability of the fresh concrete and a good...
